A Thank You from Incoming GISC Director Rasmus Frederich

Weekly Update from the Director - May 30, 2025
Dear GISC Community,
 
Thank you so much for a truly wonderful and enriching week at GISC.
 
From the very first day, I was met with open conversations, inspiring encounters, and a strong sense of community that left a deep impression on me. I’m incredibly grateful for the warm welcome by the team, the thoughtful insights, and the feeling of already being part of something special.
 
I’m really looking forward to starting this journey with all of you in August – and to becoming part of the vibrant community that makes GISC such a unique place.
 
And yes – I can already tell that work goes a little more smoothly now that I have the perfect coffee mug for it! (see photo)

Liebe Schulgemeinschaft der GISC,
 
ich möchte mich ganz herzlich für die wunderbare und lehrreiche Woche an der GISC bedanken.
 
Der Besuch war geprägt von offenen Gesprächen, inspirierenden Begegnungen und einem beeindruckenden Gemeinschaftsgefühl, das ich erleben durfte. Sehr dankbar bin ich für die vielen anregenden Einblicke, die herzliche Aufnahme im Team und die Möglichkeit, mich schon jetzt als Teil dieser besonderen Schule zu fühlen.
 
Ich freue mich sehr auf den gemeinsamen Start im August sowie auf die lebendige Schulgemeinschaft, die die GISC so besonders macht.
 
Und: Die Arbeit hier geht tatsächlich schon viel leichter – seit ich den richtigen Kaffeebecher dafür habe! (siehe Foto)
