Additional Fees

Admission Fee $200 for new students only (due with application)
New Family Fee $2,000 for new families only (due with 1st tuition installment)
Field Trip Fee $75 for students in Preschool

$200 for students in Grades 5-8

Fast Track German Language Program (FTGLP) Fee $4,000 per student in Grades 3-6

Tuition Reductions

Sibling Reductions $1,000 tuition reduction for the second child enrolled at GISC. For every additional child, the tuition is reduced by one-third of the original rate.
  
A non-refundable $1,000 tuition deposit is due with student registration. The balance of the tuition is paid in two installments on July 1 and November 1. Monthly payment plans are available with a 1% surcharge to total tuition, payable with the first installment.

*Corporate tuition applies when tuition is paid by a parent’s employer.

    Students applying later than April 15 may be placed on our waitlist and admitted in the order of their applications.

    We are committed to making our individualized, bilingual, international education available to as many families as possible. Our mission is to help our students become thoughtful, well-rounded global citizens, and this begins with making GISC accessible to everyone, ensuring that our community represents learners of all economic backgrounds. We provide financial assistance to families on a case-by-case basis.

    Tuition is revised every school year following the decision of the Board of Trustees.
German International School Chicago is a preschool through 8th grade school that prepares students to become well-rounded, creative, and responsible global citizens. We provide students with a rigorous German-English bilingual education in a supportive and individualized learning environment.
