Spring 2022 Host Family Search
Calling all GISC families! Every year, GISC hosts several interns from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland – they become an integral part of our school family, but they most certainly also become fully integrated into their host family, providing host families and especially their children with the valuable opportunity to stay in touch with German culture, language, and – we daresay – youth.
We are still looking for two host families for our incoming interns Angela Bilic from Würzburg and Jessica Bernauer from Hamburg, who arrive later this month. If you are interested in finding out more and potentially hosting either one of them, please contact Fabian Liesner, Coordinator of the GISC Intern Program, at fliesner@germanschoolchicago.com at your earliest convenience. First time host families are encouraged to get in touch, too.
