Thanksgiving Spirit

Weekly Update from the Director - November 10, 2023
Dear GISC Community,

Just a quick greeting to you in the spirit of Thanksgiving. Every morning, your children meet me enthusiastically at the front door, and as a rule, our students run into the school building, ready to learn and greet their friends and their teachers. On that note, please know how much I appreciate our students and our teachers as I could not think of a better way to get the day started in contemplating the joy of learning.
Thank you, vielen Dank!

Thanksgiving is the perfect time to remind ourselves how gratitude builds a better world. There are clear benefits to the recipient of gratitude messages, and I am sure you are aware of the many benefits for the giver or messenger of gratitude – there is scientific evidence of how practicing gratitude helps us.

I invite you to join me in expressing thanks to our school community by making a gift to the GISC Fund – it is tops on my list for giving and receiving.

Thank you,

Ben
