Registration for Pre-school and Kindergarten throughout 2010 is ongoing.

Our school is located at 1447 West Montrose in the Ravenswood/Lincoln Square neighborhood of Chicago.

The German School Chicago is a tuition-based German language immersion day school for children ages 3, 4 & 5 (pre-school and kindergarten years). Students from German and non-German speaking families are accepted. Special emphasis is placed on spoken language development in the early years with the goal of total oral fluency in German upon entering first grade, age 6.

Pre-school classes consist of multi-age groups of up to 20 children per group. One native German speaker teacher and one or two (depending on group size) fully fluent German speaking assistants with early childhood education and related experience with children teach each group.

The German School Chicago offers 1/2 day and full-day programs Monday through Friday.

In order to encourage immersion learning we are suggesting students attend all 5 days.

	It was great to see so many new and familiar faces on Saturday. Thank you for joining the German School Chicago - March 20th for our Easter Celebration. We had indoor games and activities for children of all ages. Delicious coffee and baked goods were also available. The event was a great success. We will be posting pictures shortly.
